The station of Santa Lucia is the railway station of the city, as well as one of the largest and most visited in Italy. It is located in the Cannaregio district, at the western end of the Grand Canal. Furthermore, it is connected to Piazzale Roma, the terminus of public transport lines, from the Ponte della Cosrituzione.
The city is well connected to the main Italian destinations: Bologna, Milan, Naples, Rome, Turin, Salerno, Verona, Brescia, Ferrara, Trieste and Udine. From here, moreover, connections to some European cities like Paris, Vienna, Munich and Geneva leave.
