The place is easily accessible by public transport. Numerous trams arrive in the area. With the U-Bahn, take the 3 line and get off at Thalkirchen (Tierpark).
Hellabrunn Zoo is really beautiful, well cared for is well organized. Animals roam freely for immense areas within the park. For the joy of the little ones.
Founded in the distant 1911, the Zoo was created with the aim of creating a sort of real nature reserve. Thanks to a vast series of natural ditches, the visit is very similar to what you could enjoy with a safari.
At the Zoo you can admire elephants, tigers, polar bears. The little ones can play with the goats and admire the many birds in the immense green area.

With a width of 373 hectares, it is one of the largest city parks in the world. You can stroll in the wide green spaces that alternate with streams and ponds.
