HOW TO GET
The international airport. Franz Josef Strauss, is located less than 30 km from the city center. It is one of the most modern and efficient airport airports in the world, well connected with direct flights with all of Europe and non-European countries. The plane, therefore, represents the most convenient and probably economic solution to reach the Bavarian city. AIRPORT CONNECTIONS - CENTRO
The S1 and S8 subway lines S-Bahn, allow you to reach the center; for example, the east station Ostbahnhof, Marienplatz, or the central station Hauptbahnhof. The train station is located at the 02 level of the 1 Terminal.

A trip on the road, on board your own car, is the best solution if you want to start exploring also Bavaria. Unique and suggestive places, ideal to travel in total autonomy. Moreover, German motorways are among the most efficient and, above all, are almost free on the entire route!
Berlin is about 600 km to the north, almost all on the motorway. The city is not far from the border with Austria. Innsbruck is about 160 km, while, Salzburg, just 145 km. Who arrived from Italy, passed the Brenner, and, subsequently, Innsbruck, after 75 km enters German territory. The distance from Venice is Milan, it is around the 550 km. In France, Strasbourg, near the border, is located at 370 kilometers. Paris, however, is about 840 km.

München Hauptbahnhof, is the Central Railway Station of the city, one of the most important junctions of the South of Germany, with regard to long-haul connections. From here, transit the InterCityExpress (ICE), InterCity (IC) / EuroCity (EC) long-distance trains DB NachtZug and CityNightLine. The station is also connected to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Ostbanhof and Pasing, are the other two main railway stations of the city. From this link, you can book the train to Munich at a special price.
Keep in mind that the HBF Station is of considerable size and, above all, involves long time to move from one interchange to another. Always account for at least 10 / 15 minutes if you use different trains.
Traveling by bus is an excellent solution. An increasing number of travelers, I use this means to reach the city.
