A must for a trip to beautiful Rotterdam, the Markthal is an original, huge covered market where you can find almost everything. For many, this is one of the most beautiful and interesting markets of all the Netherlands!

The building that houses the market is really beautiful, cared for and above all extremely clean. It is the ideal place to shop or stop for lunch. In addition to the typical stands where you can buy fresh fruit, spices, meats, cheeses, traditional desserts, you will find numerous restaurants and eateries, ideal for a break, for a drink and relax. Given the closing times, you could also stop for dinner.

A real fantastic world, to be discovered. Tastes and flavors from every corner of the world. From sushi, to tacos; from the traditional Fish and chips, to the delicious satay that, in these parts, they say is the best in the world! The pleasure of discovering authentic and genuine food once.

Markthal is more than just a market. It is a real entertainment place for everyone, with a rich calendar of events, workshops and activities. Special days during Halloween, King's Day and Black Friday. Treasure hunt and creative workshops for the little ones. And so much more.
