In these parts, it is considered a real institution. Industry experts and visitors, consider it one of the best indoor markets in the world.
With these premises, it would be rather difficult to imagine leaving Stockholm without setting foot on his Östermalms Saluhall.

Opened in the distant 1888, it is the place of gastronomic excellence, a true historical and cultural heritage of the city.

Lots of stands inside, where you can buy products to take home, or consume directly on the spot. Agribusiness market with lots of variety.
The quality is really excellent, and the prices are in line with Stockholm standards: quite high!

Ostermalm Saluhall could be considered a sort of food boutique. The place, in fact, does not reflect the canons of the traditional markets to which we could be accustomed. Relaxing atmosphere, incredible cleanliness and, above all, a place of peace and (almost) silence.
No one will scream at you to invite you to sit, or buy something.

Currently, the Ostermalm Saluhall Market is housed in a temporary structure, in the square in front of the original building; the latter, in fact, is being renovated, whose completion should bring it back to its original appearance, with the star plan. The interventions also concern the whole adjacent area. The completion of the works is scheduled for the 2020.
