What to do in Las Vegas
With Kanoa you will not have to think about what to do in Las Vegas. We will direct you and advise you according to the experiences of those who really lived there; we will take you to the exclusive parties and the "hottest" hotels in the Sin City of America. Without neglecting our motto: what happens in Las Vegas ... dies in Vegas!
The entertainment offer in this city is so vast that not even a week would be enough. Tourism varied, businessmen, young people looking for fun, avid players, couples on honeymoon; here in Vegas there is really something for everyone!
Let yourself go among the thousand neon lights, the dancers on the premises or the handsome Croupiers at the gaming tables; sip a cocktail on the half-moon roof of the The Palms admiring Vegas from above; treat yourself to a few hours of shopping in the Caesar Palace or in the Miracle Mile. This place is Huge (giant) as the Americans often exclaim; here everything is built following various styles or themes around the world, replicas of cities or monuments.
About what to do in Las Vegas, you will be spoiled for choice. Do you want to visit Italy? You can take a real gondola with gondoliers singing in Italian for you; you can take a picture of the great statues of Caesar and the famous Colosseum; take a trip on Lake Como. Few steps to reach New York with the Statue of Liberty and the legendary Brooklyn Bridge; do not worry: you're always in Nevada. Probably the builders here had a lot more imagination, what a taste!
Apart from the desert, we at Kanoa want to send you the adrenaline of Las Vegas; as well as prepare and take you to one of the most incredible places in the world!
Your journey starts already with the choice of accommodation. Kanoa advises to choose a structure that is positioned on the Strip (the main road). Always keep in mind a rule: here, everything is created with art to make you spend! Whether at the gaming tables of the Bellagio; that you want to taste the fantastic Buffet of the Caesar Palace without necessarily having to have a room; that you spend an evening in Tao Club at The Venetian!
One of the amazing things, is that you can enjoy the goliardic essence of all the big hotels in Las Vegas without necessarily staying. You can easily go back to sleep in a hotel located behind the Strip; they will not apply to you "Resort Rate" and you will not spend 200 Dollars to sleep! Everything, of course, is subjective. If you do not mind spending, opt without a doubt for the Winn Encore, mammoth and technological; recently opened with an incredibly kitsch style but at the same time very pleasant. Alternatively, Kanoa advises the Venetian or Bellagio for an 5 star experience with an Italian touch that ... will keep you homesick away; marble everywhere, great sculptures, obelisks, silk curtains and lots of comfort!
If you want to pay attention to the budget, without giving up a great experience, at the center of the Strip we recommend theHilton Grand Vacations Elara. It is a 4 recently built stars, located next to Planet Hollywood and facing the magnificent Bellagio fountains. It has large rooms with all the comforts and an excellent swimming pool; from the Hall, which also houses one Starbucks, it is possible to enter directly into the معجزه مسیر,en that brings in a few minutes on Strip. Hilton Elara offers excellent value for money and the total absence of the "Resort fee", and is absolutely recommended by Kanoa.
Kanoa remembers that as in all the United States, the Hotel upon your arrival, ask for a credit card to guarantee the room, the hotel will block a sum as a deposit, usually amounts to 30% of the total of the holiday rate, this deposit you will then be reversed once the Check Out has been made, provided that you have not spent ... a night of lions!
For the series What to do in Las Vegas ... unmissable The Strip. A long road about 6 km starting in Russel Road; from here, towards the north, you will begin to cross the most important hotels and casinos. The Strip is also the road of the struscio, where thousands of tourists, hot permeating, pour from one side of the road to the other. Shortly after McCarrann Airport, on the left, the Strip begins with the various hotels including Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, New York, New York, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio; along the right side, however, you will find the large MGM hotel. Then many stores of the most famous brands such as: Adidas, Coca Cola, M & M's, a mega Hard Rock of 2 floors; further on you can have a bite to eat at the legendary restaurant Harley Davidson Café (pictured below).
Carrying on, on the left, you find Caesar Palace, the Mirage, the Treasure Island; nearby the Planet Hollywood, Paris, The Venetian and the Palace, the Wynn and Encore, Sahara. This incredible Las Vegas artery ends in Fremont Street.
If you are thinking about what to do in Las Vegas, do not worry ... just follow our advice!
Along this road, there are also many characters disguised as icons of American cinema. You will come across the stars of Star Trek; or Iron Man, Michael Jackson, the Minion man and many others. With a couple of dollars you can take funny pictures in their company!
It will not be difficult, while walking, to cross many people who will offer you tiny leaflets with pictures of naked women and a telephone number; you will meet hundreds of them, and if you are not interested, just avoid them.
Between a walk and a little 'relaxation in the pool and some good show in the theater, you can not leave the Nevada without having seen the legendary Grand Canyon!
The Grand Canyon, it is located in the northern part of Arizona; it's a huge fissure carved by the Colorado River over millions of years. It is about one of the seven wonders of the world which spans about 5000 square miles and visited by more than 5 million individuals each year.
It is about 500 kilometers long, deep up to 1.800 and with a width varying from 500 meters to 29 kilometers. The park is divided into two sides, called Rim; the South Rim, the most touristic part and the North Rim, less visited, but still very beautiful and wild.
The area around the Grand Canyon became a national monument on 11 January 1908 and the 26 February 1919 was declared a national park; Unesco includes the Grand Canyon among the Patrimony of Humanity.
What to See in the Grand Canyon National Park:
The slope south is definitely more touristic and, at the same time, even more comfortable and equipped; the north side it is instead quieter but also more demanding. Much also depends on the time you have available and how much you are prepared for this type of excursions; a factor not to be underestimated, moreover, is the heat that from May to September is suffocating. Always remember to wear appropriate clothing, light fiber clothes, sports shoes, a hat and a water bottle.
The best point of the South Rim, probably, it is Desert View. È the highest of the South Rim; here stands a singular observation tower in stone decorated with murals of Indian legends; Kanoa advises to climb the tower and enjoy the wonderful view at 360 °.
In the park you can also take advantage of a free shuttle service that stops at various vantage points; its operation is explained very well in the National Park Service video.
The North Rim, instead, it is wild, much higher. Here you will not find museums, buses or shuttle services; if you want to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views you have to move backpackers and find the right viewing angle from you.
Do not miss the famous Skywalk, a suspended transparent platform overlooking the Grand Canyon; allows a nice walk with an incredible view. You will be able to find it in the West Rim, in hualapai indian reservation.

How to get
Although arriving in auto in autonomy it can have its charm, you must realize that you will have to drive a lot between round trip; in our opinion, the ideal solution is the departure from Las Vegas.
From the city, many companies organize day trips to the Grand Canyon; the cost varies between the 120 and 180 Dollars and they include Pick up at your hotel early in the morning. THE bus they are complete with all the comforts, and arrive at the South or at the North Rim, depending on what you have chosen; lunch at a quaint village, a visit of at least 3 hours to the Canyon and back to Las Vegas in the early evening.

The Venetian Resort hotel and casino it is owned by the Las Vegas Sand Corporation, and is the United States' largest 5 star hotel; the Venetian is entirely inspired by the city of Venice.
The bell tower of San Marco and the Rialto bridge are reproduced faithfully (on the 1 scale at 2) in the area in front of the Venetian entrance.
An artificial lake continues inside the structure with a canal, which divides the shopping center area in two; it is covered by faithful reproductions of the traditional Venetian Gondolas, rowed as in reality, with a lot of gondoliers who sing successes of Italian history. This huge room has a restaurant in the middle of a small square, even a sky has been reproduced.

Regarding what to do in Las Vegas, we remember that every weekend international parties are organized; the Clubbing, in these parts, in recent years has become a real industry with Calendars of events and discos that provide a seasonal cadence, as in Ibiza.
The Tao Club it is located on the first floor of the Venetian, tastefully furnished; Asian girls in small pools with rose petals await you at the entrance. Like many high-end clubs in Las Vegas the selection is very accurate at the entrance. Once inside there is a large hall with a Buddha in the middle; then, you enter the upper floor where the parties are held. The DJ's who perform at the Tao are Martin Solveig, Dj Snake, Erik Morillo, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and many others; definitely an unmissable experience if you happen to be here, especially during the weekend!
The Venetian also has several swimming pools for guests; the Tao Beach Club (photo below) is the most important, also very popular with celebrities! During the weekends it is festively decorated to host the great Pool Party.
Italian style is very fashionable in the United States; in fact, only in Las Vegas, there are numerous hotels that reproduce Italian monuments and attractions. It is the case, in fact, of one of the most famous; fans will remember for seeing it in A Night of Lions, planetary success that has opened up even more success for Vegas!

Here, many concerts are organized with world-famous artists who performed in the famous Colosseum (the theater of Caesar); Celine Dion, Elton John, Cher, Frank Sinatra are just some of the great artists who sang or played at Caesar.
Impressive is the main entrance with the lobby that is among the largest in Las Vegas; the casino area that offers lots of entertainment, even about 15.000 meters. Not to be missed is the Forum Shop (pictured below) del Caesar Palace: an endless gallery of shops and boutiques of the biggest brands!
The magnificent Caesar pools are spectacular (photo below), even if the pool parties are missing; in the largest hotel nightclub, Omnia, from Thursday to Saturday the best DJs in the world perform, including Clavin Harris and Tiesto, creating an unforgettable evening; the peculiarity of the Club Omnia is a terrace that stands directly on the Strip in a truly special panoramic setting!
A few steps from Caesars Palace, Kanoa takes you on a discovery of the famous Hotel Bellagio, a Vegas icon!
The Bellagio is a 5 star Hotel located along the Strip; many of you have surely seen it in the famous movie "Ocean's Eleven - Make your game ".
The Bellagio is modeled on the style of the houses and landscape on Lake Como; the name of the structure is taken from the town of Bellagio.
In addition to being one of the most fascinating hotels in the world, the Bellagio has 3.933 rooms, many of which are suites; even on the top floor of the hotel there is a museum and an art gallery.
The famous Bellagio fountains are the main attraction of Las Vegas; it is a show of water games, lights and music that takes place in the large artificial lake, in front of the hotel.
The show, among the most exciting in the world, cyclically repeats during the afternoon every 30 minutes, and in the evening (from 20 to 24) every 15 minutes; a series of jets of water explode moving to the rhythm of music, forming spectacular choreography and water columns up to 76 meters. Everything is very suggestive, a show that we of Kanoa we recommend not to lose absolutely.
Record numbers: 4500 light sources they make the attraction at night even more spectacular; from the 2005 have been added extreme jets (shooters), whose height of the water column reaches i 140m of height.

A SMALL TASTE OF THE SHOW
The Bellagio botanical garden is set up every season, summer, winter, autumn and spring. Horticulturists and designers of the highest level, organize, study and color the 14.000 meters of the hall of the botanical garden. Kanoa recommends a visit to the garden, since it represents an opportunity to see close up many types of plants and flowers; there are also pretty ponds and streams.
On the occasion of national holidays, then, the direction, set up the hall with the American colors plus some really interesting surprises!
The Bellagio botanical garden can be visited from the Lobby on your right.

Moreover, inside the Hotel, the Parigine streets have been reproduced, with signs, bistros and the classic floor; if you were to go to Paris, do not miss a swim in the large pool under the Eiffel Tower ... very romantic!
Almost at the end of the Strip stands the mammoth MGM Grand Hotel. It belongs to the MGM Grand Resort and the famous movie house Metro Golden Mayer, whose logo (the head of the lion) is present everywhere in the structure; at the main entrance, the owners have built a mega bronze statue, depicting a lion, high 45 feet that weighs 100.000 libre, supported by a high 25 foot marble base. The theme of the MGM Grand is Hollywood; it is composed of several buildings, of which the main one contains 5.000 standing and is almost 100 meters high. The Casino is the largest of the place; this hotel also contains 5 swimming pools connected by conduits with artificial waterfalls that cover the surface of 6,6 acres. It is really an immense structure; even the MGM Arena, several times during the year, it hosts boxing matches valid for the world championships and many events related to Wrestling.
Until last year, at the center of the casino were exposed 6 lions, in a huge cage with a recreated habitat; of course, today it's gone.
The MGM Grand is also the home of the world famous show: Cirque du Soleil.
This hotel is famous above all for events linked to Nightlife; indeed, Wet Republic, is the large swimming pool that hosts all the Weekend, the Ultra Pool Party (pictured below).
Many DJs perform, including Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Tiesto; what characterizes the Wet Republic, is the special Sound emitted by one of the best facilities in America and the chance to meet Hollywood VIPs!

A curiosity: the 23 August 2010 the Mandalay Bay hosted the 59 edition of the Miss Universe beauty contest, won by the Mexican Ximena Navarrete.
The luxury hotels that we have described are the best and most famous, as well as those in which there are many attractions. However, there are others, of which at least one mention is right. The Luxor which proposes the theme of Egypt, entirely in the shape of a pyramid; the Treasure Island, famous for the huge pool and an aquarium with Dolphins, where you can watch a curious show; the The Mirage, instead, famous for a characteristic park with 1200 palm trees and the reproduction of a real volcano (photo below) more than 16 meters and from whose slopes cascade 119.000 gallons of water per minute (every night, after sunset, every 15 minutes, the volcano simulates an eruption with lots of lava and real flames, where many people they come every evening to watch the show).
Among the many things to do, Kanoa advises, to get to the The Palms Resort, at the Fantasy Tower and go up to the 54th floor; here you will be lucky enough to have a drink at Moon Club (pictured below). Once you get out of the elevator, you'll just have to walk a few meters until you see a half-moon-shaped terrace in front of you that dominates the whole city; you will see one skyline one of a kind, probably less known than other nightclubs, but really incredible! We assure you that you will not regret it; do not forget, however, to make sure in time, that there is an organized evening.

Burger it is one of the three famous restaurants of Gordon Ramsay in the city; the great starred British chef, has inaugurated three restaurants in Nevada. Burger is present inside the Hotel and Casino Planet Hollywood; It is a very trendy place that offers really good American specialties, revisiting the classic Burger combined with side dishes and really excellent sauces.
