What to do and see at Montmanc medieval Setmana, 23 / 04 - 05 / 05 2019

DATA: from April to 23 05 May 2019
PLACE: Montblanc, Spain

During the Middle Ages, outside the walls of Montblanc, Sant Jordi killed a dangerous dragon, saving the princess and the city.
Where the dragon's blood was spilled, red roses grow today.

One of the most exciting events of the Catalan spring originates from this ancient legend: la Setmana Medieval of Montblanc. In 1987, the first representation of that event took place at the Plaza Mayor. Since then, the party has expanded, obtaining a following of not indifferent fans. And also numerous awards.

Despite its success, Montblanc's Setmana Medieval has managed to retain its popular character, remaining rooted in its roots and tradition.

The event takes place every year during the two weekends during which the anniversary of the Patron Saint, the 23 April falls. The Setmana Santa program is really rich. Among the unmissable events, the representation of the legend of San Giorgio, and the splendid Medieval Market.

We are sure you will not be disappointed by this fantastic review. Seeing is believing.
