In November, London becomes the capital of music with one of the most anticipated events of the year for fans: the London Jazz Festival. Created in the 1992, on the ashes of Camden Jazz Week, theEFG it has now been carved out, with good reason, a preponderant role in the world music scene.

Today, it is undoubtedly one of the major international musical events. It is one of the main events of the Capital and, probably, of the whole United Kingdom. The event is produced by Serious: a name, a guarantee. This is the famous jazz producer, already known for having produced some editions of Camden Jazz Week.

From 15 to 24 November 2019, for 10 days, the London city celebrates Jazz in all its forms, sounds and colors. Ten fantastic days of music. There will be events, conferences, events and, above all, many concerts, many of which with FREE admission. London Jazz Festival manages to unite, in a skilful mix, world-renowned artists and emerging stars. Today, it is more than just a festival.

Which city, better than London, could have embody the spirit and the message that music brings with it? A city so deeply multicultural; a city in which past and present are founded perfectly.

Every street, corner, square of the city, in this period, ... .. emanates jazz music. From large concert halls like the Barbican Center and Royal Festival Hall, to small Jazz Clubs, such as the Ronnie Scott's and the Vortex Jazz Club. Everywhere in the city, you can experience the charm of music. Even the bookcases and all the potential public spaces are transformed for the occasion. And, what's better than seeing fantastic performances, completely FREE ??

THE STREETS is the special appointment that allows you to attend fantastic concerts and shows, in a completely free way. In every corner of the city and in any place.

The well-known The Guardian and The Independent celebrated the incredible success of the event. We are sure that the London Jazz Festival can be an excellent opportunity to discover another side of the city. One of the most beautiful and evocative Capitals in the world.

HOW TO GET

The English capital can be easily reached by air, by direct flight, from the main European and world destinations. International airports are 4: Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton e Stansted. Of each, all the practical information, the companies and the connections with public transport to the center of London.

LONDON JAZZ FESTIVAL 2019 PROGRAM

As usual, JAZZ VOICE will officially open the new edition of the London Jazz Festival. 15 Friday, at 19: 30 at the Southbank Center / Royal Festival Hall, the grand opening gala. Saturday 16, at the London Barbican, will make a stop Cécile McLorin Salvant + Sullivan Fortner; prices from £ 25 to £ 35. Herbie Hancock, Corinne Bailey Rae, Christian Sands Trio + Camilla George, Ashley Henry, are some of the many names on the bill. Closing with Cleveland Watkiss who will perform at the 19: 30 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, at the London Southbank Center.
