In the panorama of autumn music festivals, Iceland Airwaves Festival 2016 represents one of the most interesting reality on the European scene, since 1999, the year of its foundation. Since then, numerous artists have followed one another, making entertained the numerous spectators who came to the event.
In the beautiful surroundings of Iceland, you can attend 5 days of shows. About 200 artists will perform in the wonderful Reykjavík, proposing music ranging from electronics to alternative / rock / pop.
The festival celebrates electronic music and, above all, an entire nation. In addition to numerous Icelandic artists, the festival also welcomes international authors. The 2016 line up can boast the presence of PJ Harvey, Of Monsters and Men, the Americans Sonics, and many others.
Iceland Airwaves Festival 2016 is organized and produced by Iceland Music Export, and is sponsored by Icelandair, historical company, founder of the festival.
