DATA: 26 - 30 June 2019
PLACE: Pilton, England.
One of the most important and appreciated outdoor festivals in the world, as well as one of the most important events of British culture. With these premises, it is difficult to remain indifferent to Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
Five days of music, shows, dance, cabaret, theater, and even circus arts. This, and more, is the Glastonbury Festival. An event that, today, attracts international artists of the highest order, and, with a truly incredible following; both in terms of spectators and from the media point of view. Televisions, newspapers and magazines are increasingly attracted to the event.
Today, the Glastonbury Festival keeps alive the traditions it inspires. An event inspired by hippie philosophy and Free movements. That's why men and women of all ages, move, showing off the most eccentric and extravagant looks; or, with the inevitable naked torso. Ready to fill with mud. Because, in these parts, the downpours are really at home. Almost all, wearing the inevitable "Wellington", that is, plastic rain boots. And of course, guests on stage are not far behind.
Liberta is the keyword.

The Festival also takes place in a place steeped in history and mysticism, mystery and religion. Precisely in these places, an ancient abbey rose in the Middle Ages. Where, it is said, that even the tomb of King Arthur was found, buried after a mythical trip to the sea. And that's not all. Circles in the grain and Neolithic megaliths have been found not far from these places.
In this incredible context, you can watch incredible shows and performances by the greatest artists. From the 1970, the year of Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk Festival (the very first edition of the event) have been the most important artists of the international music scene. Bjork, Coldplay, David Bowie, Muse, Pulp, Radiohead, REM, Springsteen, The Cure, U2 ... making a list is really very difficult, if not impossible. After last year's break, there's really a big wait for the 2019 edition.
HOW TO GET
Bristol airport It is the nearest airport, located about 40 km from the event location. The one-way ticket costs £ 4.00 and can be purchased directly on board the vehicle.
If you had to find a good offer to fly to London, do not be afraid and buy your plane ticket. From the train station London Paddington you can catch up with the GWR / CrossCountry train, Bristol Temple Meads; from the latter, with the bus you arrive at your destination.
For those arriving by car, there is a wide availability of parking areas, depending on the chosen direction. The Car Park passes, costs £ 41.00 and allows you to leave your car for the duration of the Glastonbury Festival in one of the special parking areas. More info from this link.

LINE-UP AND TICKETS
We had left two years ago, in the company of Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, The xx; The National ... and many others. Still the greatest reserve on the protagonists of the 2019 Glastonbury Festival. The names that circulate with a certain insistence are, above all, The Cure. In fact, Robin Smith and his partners have already confirmed their presence at some of the major 2019 summer festivals. Stormzy, The Killers and Kylie Minogue, the other names. Further updates coming soon.
The advance ticket sales had little news, compared to previous editions. The coupons were literally pulverized in a few hours. From the 09: 00 of the 01 April, to the 23: 59 of the 07 April 2019, you will once again have the opportunity to purchase the FULL WEEKEND TICKET, at the cost of £ 253 per person. Also includes access to the campsite for 6 days and 5 nights.
