DATA: 20 April - 12 May 2019
PLACE: Stuttgart, Germany.
The Fruhlingsfest Stuttgart is the most important spring festival in Germany. It is one of the most important exhibitions in the city, second by reputation, only at the Cannstatter-Volksfest. Compared to the latter, however, it is a less touristy and more national Festival.
Precisely for this reason, compared to autumn beer festivals, it is a more authentic review. It is no coincidence, in fact, that the stands are just four, compared to the ten expected for the Volksfest. Nothing serious, though. At the Frühlingsfest Stuttgart, you can sip liters of beer out of the tents at the many banquets.
It is one of the most loved parties by the Germans. A sort of spring Oktoberfest, more genuine and less touristy. A festival where you can taste the excellent beers proposed, taste the culinary delicacies and have fun with all your children. In addition to the food stands, in fact, you will find rides, attractions, games, dances, songs and events dedicated to children.
Do not miss the ride on the splendid Ferris wheel (Riesenrad Bellevue), from which you can enjoy an absolutely unique and suggestive view of the city. Turbo Force, or the roller coaster, on the other hand, is dedicated to those who are looking for pure adrenaline. Do not miss, then, to take a ride among the many markets in the area; you can bring home a stuffed toy Wasenhasi, the leprotto, mascot of the Frühlingsfest. To the Krämermarktinstead, you will find a varied offer at affordable prices; from spices, to jewels and leather goods.
