Bestival is a festival, established in 2004, which takes place in England. In the spectacular Isle of Wight, spectators can attend four days of show, in a truly unique and suggestive setting! More exactly, Robin Hill Country Park, a sort of Garden of Eden, in the heart of the island. The Festival has become a real phenomenon, distinguishing itself above all for its unconventional character. Compared to the first edition, the Bestival has seen the number of viewers quintuple. So much so as to have an ever-increasing following.

At the same time, the festival has always boasted a first-rate line-up. Suffice it to say that for the 2016 edition, the likes of The Cure, Major Lazer, Wiz Khalifa, Sea Paul and Fatboy Slim have been invited, just to name a few. The organizers' commitment is always to choose eclectic artists. In perfect harmony with the spirit of the Bestival.

The Festival has been awarded numerous prizes over the years. For four years (2005, 2006, 2007, 2009), it has been recognized as the Best Medium-sized Festival! In the 2010, 2012 and 2015, he won the Best Major Festival award. In the 2011 it was recognized as Fans Favorite Festival. And again, he was nominated for the Green Festival Award, for social and environmental commitment.

At the Bestival, you can spend four fantastic days between musical and creative surprises, and extraordinary performances. You dance, drink and have fun. There is also a fantastic day in costume with incredible costumes. Mountains of food and lots of fun.

TICKETS: there are profitable tickets starting from € 172 approximately, thanks to which you can watch all the shows of the weekend and take advantage of the campsite.


The Isle of Wight is reached via a short ferry crossing from Southampton or Portsmouth. The best method, from Italy, is undoubtedly the plane. You have to get to London and, from here, you travel by train to Portsmouth.

The fast South West trains connect London and Portsmouth, in about 90 minutes. The ticket costs, at the normal fare, 33 £ but, by booking in advance, you can find cheaper tickets, less than £ 20. For all the info, you can consult the official website from this link.

From Portsmouth, by sea, you reach the Isle of Wight. For all the info on ferries you can click on this link. Once you reach the island, a Bus Shuttle service is available for Robin Hill. The bus journey takes from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic. The ticket costs 6,00 £ and also allows the transport of a large suitcase.
