Thanks to the short distance from the airport, you can reach the center by public transport, in less than 20 minutes. You can opt for city buses and trains, or alternatively to the more expensive taxis and private shuttles.

In our opinion, the buses are very comfortable and efficient. They leave and all arrive from the airport. The trolleybus n.10 for Salzburg-Sam, connects the center in just 15 minutes, with a frequency of 10 '; the 2 trolleybus connects the airport and the railway Central Station in 20 minutes, with frequencies from 10 (weekdays) to 20 '(Sundays and holidays); finally, the 27 bus with route via Wals / Viehhausen to the train station leads to the center in about 35 '.

To travel on these buses, you can use the ticket from 1h at the cost of 2.00 € per adult and 1.40 € reduced for children up to 15 years. Tickets can be purchased inside the terminal, outside in automatic machines. Tickets can also be purchased by bus for a surcharge.
