The Romanian airport is easily accessible by bus, taxi, or alternatively, by renting a car directly at the airport. From this link, you can book your car directly online at the best price.


TURSIB, a Romanian public transport company, provides fairly rapid connections between the airport and the center.
The bus station is located in the immediate vicinity of the Terminal entrance.
The 11 bus connects, every day, the two terminus Calea Cisniadei and SC Continental, passing through Sibiu Airport. The bus runs from Monday to Friday, from 05: 30 to 23: 00 approximately, with frequencies from 10 to 20 minutes. Saturday and Sunday, run every 30 'around, from 06: 00 to 22: 20.

Alternatively, you can also use the less frequent 112, 116, 117 and 118 lines. The ticket valid for a single journey (Bilet a calatori) costs 2LEI (0.45 € approximately). It is purchased exclusively at the automatic machines in the local currency.


Given the prices far from excessive, the taxi is an excellent solution to reach the center. The latter, in fact, is a few kilometers, and the cost of the trip will be less than € 10.

Outside the Terminal, you will find the taxi station. It is always recommended to always use official taxis. Impossible to be wrong: they all have the sign, the identification number of the license and a very clear taximeter. According to a specific law, the maximum applicable rate CAN NOT EXCEED 3.10LEI per kilometer.
