Krakow Airport - Balice is an international airport located about 11 km west of Krakow, in the small village of Balice. It is the second busiest airport in Poland, and is instilled to John Paul II. The airport has two Terminals: the T1 and the T2. The former is used for international flights while the second is used for domestic flights.

CONNECTIONS TO KRAKOW AIRPORT - CITY
Moving from Krakow airport to the center is quite easy. You can choose between bus, train, car or taxi the solution that best suits your needs
The railway station is easily identifiable, located near the passenger terminal, at the back of the multi-storey car park. The train connects Krakow airport with the central train station, continuing to Wieliczka (and vice versa).
The journey to the center takes just under 20 minutes. The ticket costs 9.00PLN per person and can be purchased at numerous vending machines and merchants. Alternatively, you can also buy the ticket on board in cash only. Luggage transport is free.
The train is perfectly accessible to people with reduced mobility.
You can get there by bus to the center of Krakow. Every day, outside the Terminal, buses leave for the central railway station and the main bus station.
You can use the 252 bus during the day with frequencies of about 30 minutes. Alternatively, the 208 bus leaves every hour. During the night the 902 line is in service.
To use the vehicles, you will have to buy a zone ticket at the machines and the authorized operators, at the cost of 5.00PLN. You can also buy the ticket on board, paying only in coins. Always remember to validate the ticket before embarking on the journey.
TAXI AND CAR
Outside the terminal there are numerous taxis, useful for reaching Krakow and other Polish destinations.
Taxis have standard rates, not overly expensive. Sometimes, traveling in more people, it may even be recommended. For distances up to 4.9 km from Krakow Airport, in one area, the fare is 29PLN. For distances within 9.9km, in two zones, the fare is 49.00PLN. And so on, until you get to 6 zones within 29.9km, where the applied rate is 129PLN.
Alternatively, you can rent a car directly at many Krakow airport agencies and reach any destination in Poland.
