From the airport, you can get to the center of Cluj Napoca in no time and, from there, move to other destinations in Transylvania. You can move by taxi, by public transport, or hiring a car directly at the airport.


The local CTP company, manages the public network that allows you to move from the city and reach many destinations, including the airport. The bus station is located immediately outside the Terminal. You can reach Cluj Napoca using the 8 line, or alternatively the 5 Line.

Il trolleybus 5, recommended, make connections from the airport (Aeroport S) to the central railway station (Piata Garii S). It is in operation every day, from Monday to Friday, 04: 57 to 22: 38 with a frequency of about 10 minutes. On Saturday and Sunday, from 05: 30 approximately to 22: 26, with times of about 20 minutes.

Alternatively, you can use the 8 bus, in service only from Monday to Friday, from 05: 00 to 21: 40 approx.
